The clinicians at Integrated Therapy Practice (ITP) primarily use manual therapy as the preferred treatment, which is a hands-on approach. Based on current research, the use of manual therapy in combination with exercise and modalities (such as electric stimulation and ultra-sound) maximize your outcomes. Manual therapy consists of a variety of joint and soft tissue techniques directed to normalize movement patterns. This hands-on approach maximizes the effects of your treatments. Therefore, you will return to normal functionality faster. We take the extra step for you by personalizing a home exercise plan which will help in your recovery. We also believe in educating you throughout your treatment to help you change habits in order to minimize the chance for reoccurrence.
ITP strives to keep up with the current research giving our clinicians the ability to provide you with the most current and effective treatments appropriate for your condition. During your initial evaluation, your therapist will develop a personalized plan of care to optimize a quick recovery. We will take time to make sure you fully understand your condition and course of treatment.
